Happy Prez Day.

Does everyone in this group want to make a group chat on signal app so we can discuss things ?
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone joining us here at Sheepdog Society LLC.

What are your best tips for helping children develop strong character and a sense of right and wrong? Share practical advice, family traditions, or lessons that have worked for you. Your experience can help other parents in the group guide their children toward positive values.
In this modern time some critical things need to be established. There is such a thing as truth. Yes, I am actually typing this. You are reading this. Somethings are "grey" but when you ask the right question, there is an honest answer, not a maybe. We either exist or we don't. That is foundational to having morals. Logically, morals don't stand on their own, if they have no source. Then it's just "opinion." So as has been answered God gave us a basic framework to stand on and "stay out of trouble." That was personalized by Jesus. He is the way, the truth and the life. We could not know the way, how, without Him. He is the truth. We can only fully have life in Him. For practical teaching, teach your kids when very young. We told them they only get one warning, then consequences. A friend added, "if I have to get up, it's too late." The basic idea is safety and stopping rebellion in the kids. Safety is obvious. But where we all get in trouble is rebellion. Watching for those 2 things gives structure and freedom. Kids want and need both. That means seeking wisdom for when to allow them to fail so they may learn on their own.
How do you approach teaching your children about morals, values, and integrity in todayβs world? Share your parenting strategies, challenges, or stories about raising kids to be responsible, ethical, and resilient. Letβs support each other in building a strong foundation for the next generation.
I spent the afternoon making heavy steel brackets 8 brackets 32 holes, actually 64 cause I did pilot holes, Had bought some highly rated Bosch cobalt Β M 42 drill bits. I even used Tap Magic cutting oil and proper drill speeds. I am not impressed with the bits. gonna return them.
This was a mild steel, good USA steel but nothing really hard or super tough, I didn't wreak the bits, but hard drilling wrong chips and excessive force. Only got a few seconds of the proper coil chips the rest was small ground bits of metal not the nice clean coils you expect with new premium bits.Β Is everything second rate these days?
Freedom of speech is the foundation of a strong and open community. It allows us to share ideas, challenge each other, and grow together. Why do you believe free speech is important for our group and society? Share your thoughts and experiences.
Open dialogue helps us learn, connect, and solve problems together. How has the ability to speak freely impacted your life or your role as a protector? Letβs discuss why defending free speech is essential for SheepDogs and our mission.
We have a very serious problem in our nation. When free speech is used as an excuse to murder someone, there is no denying that we have a problem. I never met Charlie, but I feel like I've lost a family member. What are your thoughts?
I think we are seeing life in a way that has very rarely been seen in history. As you point out, too many people now hate (and fear) truth so much that they are willing to kill to stop it. We are living in a time where God is SO clearly saying a choice is required, so choose wisely.
How has your faith or personal beliefs helped you stay resilient during difficult moments? Share your perspective or a story where your values made a difference. Letβs encourage each other to stay strong, no matter what life throws our way.

I'm a newbe here. I wanted to share something that happened just last night. There is something very reassuring about living in a state that is a constitutional carry state. Last night I was working in a building with adult classes going on and I got a text from a friend saying that a drive by shooting had just occurred within about a mile of our location. I quickly made sure that the building was secure, with all doors locked, and then with the help of another employee we got word to multiple students in the class whom we knew always carried and let them know the situation. Those of us who were armed were on alert, and after the classes were over there were numerous people standing outside watching over the rest of the students who were getting in their cars to go home. Out of about 60 studentβ¦

Totally with you. Im versed in field expedient antennas etc. How do we format this to newb-speak? Can it be? Does it need to be? If not, under what criteria do we designate unit comms-specialists? In all sincerity this comes from a civilian with no 'formal' background but a serious engineering background. I get it. I understand the math and physics and the process. Lets do this. If this was the final comms, how do i find you?
