If you ever find yourself in the middle of a mass shooting event, do you know what to do in order to survive? What actions you should take that will save your life and possibly the lives of others? Knowing what to do in this situation is very important and with the number of mass shootings happening in our nation on almost a daily basis, this advice should not be ignored. Share this with friends and family. The more you know.

Here are some tips to help you survive a mass shooting event.

  1. Run: If you can safely escape the area, do so immediately. Leave your belongings behind and encourage others to do the same. Keep your hands visible and avoid running in a straight line if possible to make it harder for the shooter to target you.

  2. Hide: If running is not an option or not safe, find a secure place to hide. Lock or barricade doors, turn off lights, silence your phone, and remain quiet. Stay out of the shooter's view and take cover behind thick walls or objects that can stop bullets.

  3. Alert: Call emergency services as soon as possible. Provide them with as much information as you can, such as your location, the number of shooters, their descriptions, and any other relevant details.

  4. Fight: If you have no other choice and your life is in immediate danger, be prepared to defend yourself. Work together with others if possible and use any improvised weapons or objects to incapacitate the shooter.

  5. Stay low: If you're unable to escape or hide, lie flat on the ground, and try to find cover. Playing dead may also be an option if you cannot safely move.

Remember, every situation is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Your decision should be based on the specific circumstances and your assessment of the risks involved. It's important to stay as calm as possible and think critically in these high-stress situations.

Before encountering such situations, it is also beneficial to familiarize yourself with the emergency procedures and escape routes in buildings or public places you frequent. Additionally, consider taking a certified first aid and self-defense course to increase your preparedness for emergencies.

Welcome back to SheepDog Society LLC everyone and I'd also like to extend a warm welcome to our newest members of SheepDog Society LLC.

It's been 5 years since I started SheepDog Society LLC back in 2018 and just as we started to grow in numbers, the pandemic hit. I've been through a lot since then with dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic and the uncertainties that came along with it and some other issues that were affecting our nation. I'm sure you have also. So I honestly admit that I had to put everything aside for a while to focus on family and my own mental health. With that said; I am happy to announce that we are back in business!

I want to sincerely thank our members that have stuck with us through thick and thin. I couldn't be more grateful to all of you, even with our new website change. As some of you may know, SheepDog Society LLC is solely funded by myself and revenue from product purchases. I am working hard to make sure every member of SheepDog Society benefits from being in our organization. I'm doing everything from getting the forum in order, to vetting members, and keeping what we say and do private and for members only.

We have a lot of new products and I will be adding more in the coming days and weeks until we have a complete inventory for everyone to choose from and I look forward to offering sales prices and other incentives soon.
